One out of every eight women in the world will develop a form of breast cancer-- meaning that on average, there is a new diagnosis of breast cancer every two minutes. According to the National Breast Cancer Coalition (NBCC), a woman will die of breast cancer every 13 minutes. Breast cancer is so common that almost every woman has known at least one woman who has been diagnosed with the disease. Because of this, awareness and education is vital to finding a cure.
